The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. Convenient location near main attractions and restaurants. Breathtaking seaside view. Small pool and air conditioning in the apartment. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great view from the bungalow. Affordable room prices. Clean rooms and good sleeping experience.
Felt like relaxing at home, no complaints whatsoever.

I liked the prive most
I didn't like the owner. Very unfriendly attitude. The towels were not clean at all and the rooms had several bugs and lizards

The location was fine as it was near the start of the walk trail of the view point, which was stunning overlooking the bay. I think this hotel is suitable for someone who is on a tight budget and happy with basic facilities.
The room did not have secure locks and I felt that for £18 per night, I would have had paid double if I had known that fact before booking. Plus the internet was non existant!

During my recent stay, I was greeted with amazing views from my room at Uphill Cottage. The location provided a peaceful escape from the crowds, allowing me to relax and unwind. The staff were pretty good, assisting with my luggage and making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The pool area offered fine views of Phi Phi, creating the perfect backdrop for enjoying a refreshing swim.

The room was clean and big. You had aircon which was good. You can't hear any music from the beach or from the nightclubs/bars.
Staff was not very helpful. The walls are like paper. You can hear everything from your neighbors. And I do mean everything, talk, music etc.

I had a wonderful stay at a cottage with a breathtaking sea view. the staff at Uphill were incredibly friendly and even helped us with our luggage upon arrival. Despite being near the center, it was surprisingly quiet, except for some noise from the clubs until the early hours of the morning. the room and bathroom were spotless, and we even got an upgraded room for my birthday. the steep stairs added to the charm and the view. Breakfast was superb, and they even accommodated our request for an early breakfast on our departure day. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked inviting. I highly recommend Uphill Cottage for a fantastic stay. Cons: Nothing to complain about! 😊.

Uphill Cottage is a very dirty place, with dirty towells, they never change the towells or bed, you can't pay with your card, although it is said that you can, I booked a garden/sea view and instead it was a garbage view. On Booked.net they advert that check out time is 12, you get there and you find out that is 11. When we complain, they said that we can stay until 12. All is a lie, a big , fat, dirty lie! I will never go there again! For less money I could have find a much better room!

Our room obtains seaview. Extra bed is priveded with charge upon request.
1. The bedsheets are spotted with blood and yellow marks. The unclean bedsheets were not changed for the second day. 2.The toilet smells too bad. 3. Toilet drainage is poor. 3. It is too hard to find the hotel,no one comes to meet us even we asked for help.4. The room facility is quite shabby.

The view from the balcony was stunning, overlooking Phi Phi bay. The staff were friendly and helpful, even scaring off monkeys that tried to take our purchases. The room had all the basic amenities, including air conditioning and warm showers. Despite a few steps on the stairs, I would highly recommend Uphill Cottage for a great stay.

The room was very clean dan made me comfortable to stay. I met many backpackers around the world in this cottage, maybe because of its cheapest price than others.
The water was so little to come out, maybe because its location is quite far from the beach. There was no telephone that was connected to the receptionist so made me difficult to call somebody. There was an Air-Conditioning but there was no its remote control.

we had a big room with fan and hot shower. Not the best place of our 3-months journey, but compares to other accomodation on Phi Phi may be not so bad at all. This is because of hearing from other folks on the Island. Don't expect the best, expect basic and you will adore this place.
it was the last guesthouse of the village, so pretty far (10min) walk from ferry. Although close to beach and viewpoint
